The Queso Loco was mostly what tasted like Velveeta. The chimi was uninspired, and the fajita nachos were just ok. Two thumbs up for the Bad Juan, however.
This is a Sports Bar setting, however, with only the first two pages being Mexican fare, and the last three being burgers, sandwiches, pizza and wings.
Though we keep searching, we'll never find Queso Fundito as good as in Puerto Vallarta, especially in Dayton OH. -

Stopped in for Friday lunch because of past experience with Elsas. I should have taken the Sports Bar in the name as a possible clue. Anyway, salsa was good while the chips were cold and greasy. I got their lunch special of grilled cheese and tomato soup. It wasn't too bad for $5.99. It came with potato chips. My wife got the chicken nuggets appetizer. These were $8.95 and there was ten nuggets with two dipping sauces Not a good value or taste. The time to order and to get the food was very long. And for no reason of them being busy. This place might be good as to getting drinks but for true food I would not recommend this place

Friends recommended Else's for Mexican food. We decided to give it a try. I was okay with the plate. I ordered a combination of taco with shredded meat and enchilada plate. The meat was very flavorful in the taco and the enchilada was okay, but the menu was limited.
Service was okay and overall just an okay visit. I did like they had a nice outdoor patio area but being humid, I did not take advantage of the patio. I also found they were more a sports bar than a Mexican restaurant and had a well rounded menu of American food.
If you are looking for a quick place for food and sports, I would say this is the spot. If you are looking for some great mexican food, keep searching. -

Thought I would review this Elsas even though I frequent the other locations. This is my favorite location due to the big patio they have. Of course the Bad Juan margarita is what they are known for. Probably the strongest one you will ever have. They have a 3 drink limit for these because of the potency. The food for the most part is average. I recommend the wings and their pizza. Both are excellent. Nothing like a few bad Juan's on the patio in the summer.

All other reviews are on the money. We tried to call 3 times over the course of a week and no one answered the phone. My husband finally went in the place an order since we live nearby and he was curious what was going on and he told me that all the servers were sitting around talking and on their phones. The wings we ordered were not great, they charge us incorrectly and it seemed suspicious.
Wonder if Elsa's is aware of how this location is giving the brand a bad name.
